E. Matthew Dwyer, CPA
Matthew Dwyer is a Principal of Matthews, Carter and Boyce, P.C. (MC&B). Matt joined MC&B in 1995 and manages of the firm’s Venture Capital practice. In addition to his venture capital work, Matt has also performed a wide range of services including tax, auditing and advisory services for businesses and individuals. Matt has had significant experience working with Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC) including performing audits of SBICs, compliance advisory services, assisting with compliance examinations, distribution analysis and accounting and tax related services. He has served as a guest speaker at several Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) conferences discussing various topics including SBIC regulations, GAAP accounting for investment companies, investment valuations and investment company tax issues. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked as a financial consultant for an international consulting firm.
