Jude J. Covas is the Managing Principal of Matthews, Carter & Boyce. Jude joined MCB in 1983, became a Principal of the firm in 1990, and has served as Managing Principal since 2004. He has spent his entire professional career with the firm. Jude has a diverse accounting and business background serving clients in all areas including tax planning, financial statement audits and services, employee benefit plan audits and general business advice. His industry specialties include government contracting, commercial real estate, closely held businesses, manufacturing companies, and wholesale distributors.

Jude provides audit & assurance services, accounting, corporate, partnership and individual tax and business advisory services. His tax and business advisory experience includes representation before the IRS, business and individual tax planning, evaluating internal controls and procedures, advising on computer systems, improving the usefulness of management reporting and development of business plans.

He has an in depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting and auditing principles and served for several years as the firm's audit and accounting practice Quality Control Leader.
