MCB recognizes the importance of personal life by fully supporting a flexible work schedule through telecommuting, flex hours and reduced schedules in the summer. Whatever the reason, whether it is for better commuting management or being at home when your children leave and return, MCB is open to any suggestion to make your personal life more fulfilling.
We support women's professional networking organizations. Several MCB team members participate in Success in the City and the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants.
We also invest in the latest technologies to improve each employee's efficiency. Everyone has remote network software to access files from outside the office. The use of "paperless" software and systems increases the efficiency of this remote access. Other recent acquisitions include a VoIP telephone system, multi tasking copier, additional monitors for each desk and a three year cycle on hardware upgrades.
To make the workplace more enjoyable, we provide dinner every weeknight during the busy season for those staying late and lunch on Saturdays. Chair Massage Saturdays are big events in April. Flat screen TVs are available for March Madness (and other diversions). We have a friendly workplace. Everyone is on a first name basis, everyone is accessible and everyone is treated with respect.
Lunches and dinners are daily social events but we have other activities. Our Social and Civic Committee plans picnics, holiday and April 15th parties, happy hours, and events that serve the community. We participate in Fairfax County Adult Sports with kickball and softball teams.
